In Provence the ceremony is almost always outside, and the day is built around the light. Vows at five in an olive grove, a cocktail as the heat drops, dinner under plane trees, then a dancefloor in a courtyard. Sound behaves differently in the open: nothing reflects it, the mistral can arrive by mid afternoon, and the neighbouring hamlet hears everything. Nourith works to that reality. She listens first, then composes the evening with you, from an acoustic set at dusk to a full floor at midnight.
Questions
The set-up moves and the equipment is secured. The mistral usually arrives in the afternoon and can carry sound away from your guests entirely, so an outdoor ceremony is amplified with the speakers low and close rather than high and wide, and the microphone is shielded. If the wind is severe, the acoustic set moves under cover.
Yes. The acoustic formats need very little, and a small battery system covers a ceremony in an olive grove or a field with no supply. For the dancing, the estate mains or a generator is required, and that is confirmed with your venue before the contract rather than on the day.
By train or road from Paris, arriving the day before. It is a journey of a few hours with the equipment, not a flight from London or New York. There is no international travel budget swallowed before a note is played, and a site visit is a train ride rather than a trip.
Cocktail Band and DJ from 4,500 EUR suits a long outdoor aperitif and carries the dancing afterwards, and the DJ-Live Experience from 4,000 EUR suits a courtyard dancefloor. Nourith sings live, joined by a DJ, other singers, saxophone and percussion. Where a hard outdoor curfew applies, the programme is planned around it rather than against it.
