Paris · Weddings & Private Events
A domaine is a working estate before it is a wedding venue. In September the harvest is running, the cellar smells of fermentation, and the courtyard you saw in April is full of crates. Dinner may be between the rows, the dancing in a barrel cellar with a low vault and a long echo, and the access track is gravel and dust. Nourith plans for the estate as it will be on your date, then composes an evening that suits a place where the work is real.
Questions
Yes, with tighter timings. From late August into October a working domaine is at its busiest, machinery moves at dawn, and the areas available to you can change late. The set-up window is confirmed with the estate rather than assumed, and the equipment is kept clear of the working circuit.
Warm, loud and long. Stone or concrete vaults lined with barrels hold the low frequencies, which makes a live band feel enormous and can turn a dance set to mud. The level is set for the vault, and acoustic sets often sound better there than anywhere else on the estate.
It is, and it is managed. Gravel tracks and open rows mean dust on strings, keys and cabling, so equipment arrives covered and is uncovered late. For a dinner served between the vines, a compact acoustic set is far more practical than a full production.
Cocktail Band and DJ from 4,500 EUR is the natural fit for a vineyard aperitif, with guitar, double bass and percussion, followed by a DJ set Nourith mixes herself. For the evening in a cellar, the DJ-Live Experience from 4,000 EUR works well: Nourith sings live, joined by a DJ, other singers, saxophone and percussion.
